Social inequality is a bitter reality of society. People have to face segregation based on race, ethnicity, gender, social class, and even because of their sexuality. Social stratification in society is a system where there is unequal access to essential resources (Griffiths et al., 2014). Thus, where one section of the society gets everything, others have to struggle to get the minimum resources to live. Unfortunately, the stratification is not just limited to social class based on wealth, but people are segregated on every basis.
